A few people have been noticing the Advanced Moderator tag on TeamSpeak and I have received a few questions asking about it, so I thought I'd explain it fully in a forum thread.
Advanced Moderator is a new staff rank on DestroZone that helps the most committed and dedicated staff members stand out from the crowd. The requirements for a staff member to be invited to become an Advanced Mod are as follows:
- Must have been staff on DestroZone for 6+ months
- Must have 500+ informative and helpful forum posts
- Must have had staff of the month at least once
- Must have been on an admin team, and been recommended by the respective admin
- Must pass the advanced moderator test
- Must NOT have any staff warnings in the past 3 months
- Must show continuous determination and commitment to the staff team.
If a moderator successfully moves on to become an advanced moderator, they will gain the following perks:
- Forum Post Background Colour
- Green Flames over name on forums
- Your own personal discount for the shop
- In-game tag promotion
- More in-game permissions
- New Teamspeak Tag with access to Advanced Mod Chill Lounge
- Added to Advanced Mod staff chat
More perks may come with that as the rank is achieved. Good luck to all staff members going for this role!
